Minister of Sport, Anil Roberts, announced yesterday that Jehue Gordon will be rewarded for his Gold medal performance at the IAAF World Championships in Moscow. These rewards are as follows: He will be awarded the Chaconia Medal Gold $800,000 Mid-sized House UWI Annual Grant Free Caribbean Airline tickets UWI Track named after Jehue Gordon Congrats again Jehue! Now if we could only get the government to spend money on our “stars of the future”… the sky’s the limit. But then again maybe we asking too…
