Microsoft opened it’s E3 presentation with Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. All we have to say is DYAAAAMMNN. This is a must get launch title. At first we thought it was Red Dead Redemption 2 because it as a distinctive old school western feel.
On the fresher side of things, a new game franchise was revealed, Ryse: Son of Rome. Reminiscant of 300, it’s a sword slinging game set in ancient Rome. It is exclusive to Xbox One. The graphics were sick, and you somewhat expected Gerard Butler to appear at any minute.
Motor racing fans could look forward to Forza Motorsport 5. It has a new feature called ‘Driveatar’. It is a cloud-based feature. A player’s Drivatar is a personal profile that races while players are away, accruing points for players that aren’t actually playing the game at the time.
Not to be left out of a Xbox Reveal, fan-favourite Master Chief made an appearance. He appeared in the snow covered in what looks to be a tattered jedi uniform. Halo for Xbox One will be released in 2014 and run in 60FPS….mmmmm smooth.
